We are so excited to introduce this new event in collaboration with the Ashland County Juneteenth Committee and Ashland Main Street.
Join us for a walk-through historic Ashland, Ohio, and learn about the holiday called Juneteenth. This celebration of freedom marks the official end of slavery in the United States. On Wednesday, June 19, 2024, the Ashland County Historical Society, Ashland Main Street, and the Juneteenth Committee will be holding an evening of freedom celebration with the walking tour beginning promptly at 4:00 p.m., followed by ice cream and cupcakes!
