Join us at the Ashland County Historical Society for an exclusive, one-day only tour of our museums. See parts of the museum normally off-limits to the public!
Guests will embark on a self-guided tour of the Historical Society's hidden spaces. Begin your tour at the Manor House, and see the original cistern that the Cowan family used to disperse water throughout the house. Explore the basement of the house that served as a summer kitchen for the Cowans. Hear about the tragic death of eight-year-old Grace Myers. Then, venture to Freer Home down the street to see the jail cells that housed troubled boys during the home's days as a Juvenile Detention facility.
