We look forward to seeing you on Thursday, April 28th at 7:00 p.m. EDT. when Chautauqua scholar Elsa Wolff will be leading a discussion on The Colonel and Little Missie: Buffalo Bill, Annie Oakley, and the Beginnings of Superstardom in America by Larry McMurtry. The book discussion centered on historical character Annie Oakley, the American sharpshooter who starred in Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show in the late 19th century. Wolff is an educator and entertainer who uses singing, storytelling, and first-person dramatization. In her most recent appearance at Ashland Chautauqua in 2017, she portrayed Maria von Trapp of "The Sound of Music" fame.
