Celebrate diversity, promote unity, and strengthen community at one of our virtual Helping Hands Healing Hands virtual art workshops. During the workshop participants will be led through a guided exercise to envision a safe, healthy, and unified community. Participants will be given a window of time to express their vision for the future through art.
No prior art experience needed. All are welcome-including children!
FREE art supply kits are available to the first 50 registrants. A list of suggested supplies will also be provided or the workshop may be done with very minimal supplies, such as a piece of paper and some crayons or markers. The workshop is appropriate for everyone - adults, children, individuals, and families.
Please use this window of time as self-care, self-reflection, a way to relax, or to bond as a family or team. We will be practicing relaxation techniques and guided visualization during the workshop to get us into the right mindset for art making.
The workshop will be presented virtually on Zoom and is offered three times: Thursday, March 25th @ Noon Friday, March 26th @ 7:00 pm Saturday, March 27th @ 1:00 pm Zoom link and workshop instructions will be sent to the email collected below. Participants will have the opportunity to have their artwork displayed in Ashland area businesses and photographed while positioned in the shape of a mandala alongside other participants' artwork.
Instructions for the pick up of supplies and drop off of artwork for display will be sent via email. Safe Haven is hosting this community art project utilizing A Window Between Worlds art workshop facilitated by Alison Webb.
