BRING THE KIDS AND GRANDKIDS!!
Join us for our fun-filled family pumpkin carving/decoration contest. Each family must pre-register (unlimited entries) between Oct. 1 and Oct. 17 by telephone, email, through Facebook or U. S. mail.
There are two categories for entry—Traditional Carved Pumpkin and Decorated Pumpkin. The pumpkin can be real or imitation (i.e. plastic). Provide your own pumpkin and FLAMELESS lighting, if needed.
Donation is $5 per pumpkin, which includes free family admission the night of the event. There is a $25 cash prize in each category for 1st prize and $10 for 2nd prize. Your name, address, and telephone number must be affixed to the bottom of each entry. Drop off your carved or decorated pumpkins and registration fee, if not already paid, on Thu. Oct. 24 from 10am to 8pm; or Fri. Oct. 25 from 8am to 10am or 5pm to 7pm.
If you are not interested in participating in the contest, but would like to attend the event, donation is $5 per family. You will be able to vote for your favorite pumpkin, play fun children’s games, enjoy refreshments, and talk to Johnny Appleseed (portrayed by Ken Hammontree).
Families are encouraged to come in Halloween costumes as they trick-or-treat their way through the pumpkin glow display.
