Kristine Jackson, lovingly known by her fans as KJ, had an early career as a trumpet player backing up world class vocalists. She has since made a name for herself as a songwriter, vocalist, and guitarist, and has been a full time musician since 2004. Performing mainly as a solo act, both versatile and adaptable, she can arrange a powerful band and have the stage rockin’ with energy, or mellow down and mesmerize audiences with just her voice and guitar. Her set-list is not easily categorized, at any given show you will hear original and cover material with traces of roots, gospel, blues, folk, Motown, country, and much more.
Kristine has opened for or performed with Joe Bonamassa, Lonnie Brooks, Nora Jean Bruso and Robert Cray to name a few.
