The world-famous, eight-horse Budweiser Clydesdale hitch is making a special appearance as part of the Ashland Bicentennial Celebration this summer and special public viewing hours for the Clydesdales have been set.
The Clydesdales will be staying at the Ashland County Fairgrounds and special public viewing times are set from 12 noon to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30, and from 12 noon to 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 2. During this time, the public will see the daily routine of caring for the horses, which will include the horses in the stalls, being worked out in the pasture or being washed and groomed.
In addition to these public viewing times, the horses and the famous red beer wagon will be at the Balloonfest Fields on Thursday, July 2, for the barbecue and media night, and will also be one of the main attractions in the “Star Spangled Celebration” parade in downtown Ashland on July 4.
The City of Ashland is celebrating its 200th year anniversary during 2015 and will be hosting many different events as part of the year-long celebration, which is sponsored by Donley Auto Group.
