Ashland County Fair
September 15-21
Once a year, the people in our area come together to celebrate their talents, accomplishments, and community spirit at the fun-filled Ashland County Fair. View the best of local agriculture and traditions, attend a tractor pull or demo derby, take a spin on some carnival rides, and see country music star Craig Morgan in concert!
Autumn Fiber Festival
October 19-20
Have enough fiber in your cultural diet? The Autumn Fiber Festival is excited to return for its 8th annual event at Ashland County Fairgrounds. Local fiber producers, craftsmen, and artists come together to show the importance of natural fibers to our community with demonstrations, education, and sales of their work. See the best in weaving, spinning, crocheting, rug-hooking, and more. This event offers an excellent opportunity to buy some Christmas gifts—including for yourself!
Murder Mystery: Knight of Murder
November 9
Hear ye, hear ye! You have been invited to attend the noble marriage celebration of Baron Bartholomew to Lady Diana of Dunnsberry in the manor of Fernwood. A good time shall be had by all—well, except for the victim.
Visit Mitchell’s Orchard and Farm Market for a Medieval murder mystery sure to keep you on your toes all night. Tickets include entertainment, buffet, and wine/beer tasting. Reserve your ticket today at Mitchell's or at the Ashland Area Convention and Visitors Bureau's office.
Christmas Parade & Tree Lighting
December 7
Our annual Christmas parade, organized by Ashland Main Street, is one of our community’s most beloved long-time traditions. And it gets better every year—the participants and the floats are amazing! Join in as families line Main Street to see the sights of this festive nighttime parade. Then, enjoy our city’s newest tradition—the lighting of Ashland’s official Christmas tree at Corner Park, followed by a spectacular fireworks display. This event is sure to put you in the holiday spirit!
