Once the holidays have come and gone, winter can be a little bit harder to enjoy. The festive songs are off the radio and the decorations packed away, but it’s still, well, freezing outside. It’s a good thing that Ashland has plenty of activities to keep you entertained in the great indoors until the weather warms up, then energized for the start of spring!
Walk-In Art Projects at Tin Can Chandelier
Resolve to make creativity a priority in the new year by visiting Tin Can Chandelier, a no-pressure art studio where artists of all levels of experience can paint canvas, pottery, or wood signs; throw on a pottery wheel; or sculpt with clay. No reservations are required. Visit an inspiring open work space to enjoy free-flowing conversation with other fun-loving creative people making their artistic mark!

Ashland Symphony: “The Music of Star Wars”
Would Star Wars be such a powerful and legendary movie without the soaring strings and punctuated brass of John Williams’ score? On Saturday, January 26, soak in the wonder of the music performed by the exceptional talent of our very own Ashland Symphony. The performance begins at 7:30pm in the Archer Auditorium. Show up an hour early to participate in activities that will give you the Force for an unforgettable evening!
Antlers & Anglers
Celebrate the great outdoors with the Antlers & Anglers Sportsman Showcase, an annual event dedicated to hunting, fishing, hiking, water sports, and all the other activities that make Ashland a beautiful place to live year-round. Enjoy special guests, demonstrations, food vendors, prizes, and giveaways! Brought to you by Armstrong, the showcase comes to the Ashland County Fairgrounds the weekend of March 23-24. Admission is just “2 Bucks”!
Cabin Fever Festival
Did somebody mention cabin fever? On March 29, 6pm-9pm, say goodbye to winter for good with the 3rd Annual Cabin Fever Festival at the Salvation Army Kroc Center. Get out, stretch your legs, and enjoy fun activities, crafts, vendors, and door prizes. Souvenir gift bags will be given to the first 100 families through the door!
M.A.D.E. IN ASHLAND
Save the date! The M.A.D.E. in Ashland final performance will come to Archer Auditorium on April 6 at 7:30pm. M.A.D.E. in Ashland celebrates creativity by bringing artists together to highlight music, art, dance, and education during a week-long residency culminating in a performance sure to get your spirits soaring for spring.
